There is a unique stillness that only exists above the clouds. Walking through the valleys of Lauterbrunnen, with seventy-two waterfalls cascading down sheer limestone cliffs, you feel both incredibly small and beautifully connected to the earth.

Our journey began in Geneva, taking the panoramic railway deep into the Bernese Oberland. Our goal was simple: push our physical limits and document the alpine scenery at sunrise and sunset.

Each morning started at 4:30 AM. Carrying heavy camera gear and cold-weather clothing, we climbed the steep ridges surrounding Zermatt. The rewards were spectacular. Seeing the tip of the Matterhorn catch the first rays of golden light is something that no photo can fully capture, though I certainly tried.
